Operator-Led.
Execution-Focused.

From product-market fit to scale

Henry Arias, MBA

Founder & Managing Partner

Henry is the Founder and Managing Partner of Altelan Capital, a growth-stage firm investing in food, beverage, and FoodTech platforms at the inflection point between product-market fit and scaled distribution.

He has experience across investment teams that have deployed over $1 billion in capital, including leading corporate development at a large family office focused on founder-led brands. He brings deep go-to-market expertise across retail, foodservice, and digital channels, with a track record of translating that knowledge into commercial outcomes for founders. This means opening doors to strategic partnerships and key retail relationships, backed by a network of exited founders and operators who provide targeted guidance across the areas that matter most.

Durability beats growth at all costs, and the next generation of food winners will be defined by operational resilience, cultural resonance, and the moat that follows. He writes about what that means for founders and operators in The Endcap, his Substack on food and food technology.

Henry holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a B.A. from Wesleyan University. He serves on the board of the Pike Place Market Foundation and is an active member of the Association for Corporate Growth and the Seattle Alternative Investment Association.

Julia Ruedig McBeath
